"Carlisle Workshop News and My August Winner"

Another workshop has come and gone. We laughed, we cried, we PAINTED our butts off. We ask ourselves and each other hard questions. Like, if you knew you could do anything and not fail, what would you do? Cate was so inspired by Sandy's answer she gave her a painting depicting it.....tight rope walker in the Big Top! And I thought she wanted to learn about painting......you just never know who's gonna show up at my workshops...!

The numbers grow each month on subscribers to my blog--thanks so much for your interest and support---it is always a delight to see the response to my latest paintings and thoughts. And I love the fact that I get to give out some love right back at you with a drawing for one of my little paintings. Thought you might like to know how the winner is determined. Not fancy, but it works. I count the number of comments, blog followers, blog subscribers, and newsletter subscribers. Add them all together and then have someone pick a number. Whomever the number lands on--that's the winner for the month. As my numbers grow I may have to find a more effecient way to do it, but for now it works!
