"Always JOY"

"Always JOY"
12 x 12in oil on museum quality panel
$550

What are you really hungry for?
What is it that you crave?

It's worth the asking.

Like eating a dozen random things when we don't know what we really want
OR
Running around doing a zillion other things because we are unclear on our real desires--

Both things result in full plates and unrequited hungers:))

Rather than filling up on just any old thing

Get really specific and feed only on that:))

P.S.  Just finished the second of my two workshops in Cary, NC--more to come!

"Slow Down:)"

"Dreama's Daisies"

"According to Eric Schmidt, Former CEO of Google, we now generate as much information every two days as was generated from the beginning of time to 2003."

No wonder it sometimes feels overwhelming!  Slowing down??  What a concept!  One almost feels wasteful.....

".....I looked back over the day.  I was, at first thought, inclined to mentally chastise myself.  A day “wasted”.  Important “lists” left untouched.  Time spent with nothing to show for it.

It was then that I started to retrace what the day had been filled with.

A heartfelt letter from a dear friend, bursting with love.

A recognition in faces and words, that something I had done had contributed to their day.

A short ride with my husband, talking about nothing.

A tiredness that was relieved in a nap taken with a soft  cover on a overcast day.

Homemade stew, ladled up with wooden dipper into a cherry red mug, followed by homemade chocolate chip cookies.

All interlaced with the picking up and putting down of a book I was meant to read.

And here it was, now 7 PM.

Nothing to show for the day.

Except...

Except...

I felt really peaceful inside.

Really quiet, really calm.

It was then that it came to me

I had done exactly what the day had called for.

I had turned off the noise

I had quelled the need to be doing

I had dropped into simply being.

I had indeed done something

I had said yes to the gift the day had lined up for me.

The gift of

Peace.

The only real waste of the day would have been to have missed the gift:))

Let the day dissolve into peace....

"Trust"

Detail of "Trust"

Sometimes you just have to follow the story and see where it leads.  That is lesson number one I have learned in life.  Quit trying to figure out the end before you begin.

For one, it would absolutely kill all of the fun.

My desire for you--Peace, Abundance, Harmony, Love, Gratitude, Beauty, and Joy!
And this is how "Trust" started.  Hot pink and on a mission..:):)

And this is "Trust" on her journey to discovering herself...:)))

Secondly, it doesn't work that way, so you will spend a long time waiting and never really begin.  It is no fun  spending your entire life waiting.  So begin.  Begin where ever you are with whatever you have with whoever you are.   And know that whoever you are is just fine as well.
It's called....
 Trust.
