One of the many things to love about Italy are the door curtains:))  Used in lieu of air conditioning to help keep the heat out and the cool in (just like the wooden shutters) they add such a poetic touch to the entrata:))!

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you got set up to paint and couldn't find your paint brush? And you were like 50 miles of curvy road from the nearest art supply store in Italy? 

 I used to wonder about that too;))

Please note the above painting was done with palette knife....:))

The curtained doorways are everywhere:))

Here's one where we could each have our very own door curtain:)))

First things first though---I think we need to get us a scooter to ride on:))

Then we can meet at this little sweet spot for lunch! 

I am still on the hunt for us a place to hang our cappellos--and I always check the back yard.   You just gotta be able to dine al fresco!!

So for dinner---are we gonna eat fresh bread with olive oil and crema balsamica again???

Of course WE are---we're in Italy:)))

And we'll have the fresh buffalo mozzarella on our insalata as well.

No point in holding back.  I mean, it's not like anyone here knows us or anything.

We will worry about fitting into the airplane seats later.....(I have had someone warn me that for some reason the return flights have smaller seats...what's THAT about??)

As word of the two gelatos a day habit has started to spread amongst the locals though, I fear we must be very careful whom we take into our confidence.

There are places they send folks like us with these kind of habits.

I had heard the rumors but suspicions were confirmed today when I spied this place just across the street from the ristorante.....

The FATTORIA!!!

Eeegads!!  Someone told me it meant farmhouse, but I am not buying into that.  From now on the gelato is coming back to the house with us....no more being seen in public snorkeling down the salted carmel pistachio chocolate stuff;))

It's time to give away another original watercolor postcard from Italy:)))!!
