BE PREPARED TO BE AMAZED, TO GAWK IN WONDER, TO SCRATCH YOUR HEAD IN CONFUSION, OVER WHAT YOU WILL FIND HERE.....:))

Let the Randomness Begin:

Head to Head:
Freshly back from an international trip-- going through customs and having everything handled, poked and peered at--I am pleased to report my paints traveled quite nicely with no drips, smears, or confiscations:))  I thought I would share a couple of pics of how they were packed in order to help you out if you plan on traveling long distance with your pigments.

It was a two step deal.  First, I packed the tubes head to head and wrapped them in bubble wrap, then inside a gallon baggie, and placed them in my portable palette.

Secondly, I printed out the PDTMP sheets (short for Please Don't Take My Paints) (also known as the MSDS sheets --short for material safety data sheets, available online from the paint manufactures:)),
.....printed boldly across the top "Artist's Vegetable Oil Colors", along with some marketing materials clearing stating I am a painter, placed all in a clear bag and taped it up:))
I am proud to report both coming and going, that they arrived as intact as I had packed them--no leaks or punctures in the tubes (which I have had happen before--the head to head packing, along with the bubble wrap, keeps the trouble making pointy ends away from each other:)

In the Bag:
One of the things I did before heading out on my trip was to purchase what's called an over the body or cross body bag.   They  are meant to be worn across the body to allow you to be hands-free while on the go:))  And it was a good investment--I was able to keep all my important stuff on me and still be hands free for handling my luggage, tickets and passport.  It will be on the trip to Italy with me come September:))

You've Been Framed:
Some tips on using all those old frames you have laying around...

If video doesn't appear, click here to view:)

Color Everywhere:
Admittedly, I am a colorholic.  However, I have not taken to having hallucinations..er, at least I don't think I have....

On the last leg of my trip home from France, I looked up from reading to see a rainbow of color from my seat spanning all the way to the front of the airplane.  It lasted for 20 minutes and only left when we landed.  No one else seemed to notice but me....so I am thinking maybe I have been "drinking" in the color too much lately:))))

Mr.Sandman:
Eddie tries to act like he's totally above showing affection for anyone but himself...but cameras
dont' lie......;))

Caught!!!  Checking on Eddie Pierre at nap time:)))--just like a REAL big brother:))

So there you have it.  Frames on the world, cats who care, over the shoulder and through the 'hoods handbags, planebows and a "heads up" on packing paint (gosh, that was a really painful pun...:). Things for you to ponder on OR

It's the week-end and you could just RELAX!!  Here's a few ideas for how to do that  (in case you can't think of any:))  Click to read.

P.S.  A few workshops have been added to my schedule, including October 2012 in Jacksonville, FL and February 2013 in Carmel, IN.  To see my workshop dates, just click here.
