Painting shows me my steps in color and form which clearly marks the path towards reaching my goal. This elicits such joy and sometimes frustration within me. It is teaching me to recognize and enjoy my journeys outside of painting because the process is the same. If you keep working towards the goal you will reach it..

Painting allows me to stop the world for just a little while and catch my breath! It is a small retreat, an escape, a refueling that gives energy to everyday life.
