Beach Inspired Sonnet No. 54
Oh Sandy Beach Shack, how do I love thee?
I love thee to the heights of thy shabby shiekness
(means I don't have to attempteth to keep you cleaneth)
I love thee to the depths of the sand that cozyeth up to your fronteth door
(means I'm just a stones throweth from the surfeth)
I love thee freely
(means I have talked someone into loaningeth me their beacheth shack)
I love thee purely
(purely becauseth I am sure I was born in the tropics and switchedeth at birth)
I love thee with the passion put to use
( to get the hecketh out of dodge before the snoweth geteth to me)
I love thee with the breath, tears, smiles of all my life
And if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death
(but I intendeth to visiteth thee longeth before that happeneth.)
Please holdeth your applause for this master piece of poetry. Just letteth it sink into your soul and imagine the sand.
Between your toeths of course.
P.S. I have been warning you if I don't escape the snow, I will not be held responsible for what happens on this blog.
